Easy and Quick! Big Beautiful Basket

Today we want to share with you a special post:
Make a Big Beautiful Basket with Your Leftover Yarn Scraps!
If you're a crafter or crocheter, you probably have a ton of leftover yarn scraps lying around. Don't throw them away!
Instead, use them to create a Big Beautiful Basket that is perfect for holding all sorts of things, from your current work in progress to extra yarn and even your socks.
Not only is it practical, but it also makes a stylish addition to any room in your home.
To make your basket, you'll need to gather your yarn scraps and a crochet hook. The suggested hook size is 6 mm (US J-10), but you can adjust the size depending on the thickness of your yarn.
You'll also need a rope, which will give the basket its structure. The suggested rope size is 6 mm (1/4 inch).
To start, you'll need to create the base of the basket by crocheting around the rope. This will give the basket a sturdy foundation.
From there, you'll work your way up the sides of the basket using various stitches and colors to create a beautiful, textured pattern. The basket is finished off with a dart at the top, which gives it a unique shape.
Once completed, your Big Beautiful Basket will measure approximately 35 x 35 cm (14 x 14 inches) with the dart.
It's large enough to hold all sorts of things, yet still compact enough to fit in most spaces. You can even place one in your child's room to encourage them to keep their space neat and tidy, or use it as a laundry basket in the nursery.
Not only is this project a great way to use up your leftover yarn scraps, but it's also a fun and creative way to personalize your home decor.
