Superior quality bathroom tiles, especially with good grout, are an excellent feature to add to bathrooms of any size. If you want to spend a little more money on renovations, freestanding bathtubs, electric showers, or wet rooms can be the perfect resource to really make your bathroom stand out.

Wet rooms

Wet Rooms is Google's fourth most popular search, with 246,700 searches per year. “Wet chambers have gained popularity in recent years, but they are a lot like the kettle, as many home seekers still like to have access to a bathtub.

It's not a big deal in multi-bathroom homes, and in those cases, it can be a welcome bonus, but homeowners should seriously consider avoiding turning their single bathroom into a wet room, '' explains Mortgageable's Kev Tilley real estate expert.

Underfloor heating

You can warm your toes after showering and your bank balance at the same time, adding radiant warmth to your home.

Apparently, everyone loves a warm bathroom floor and it can add a lot more value to your property. Underfloor heating is the 28th most researched bathroom trend, with over 15,000 searches per year.

Double sink

“Adding a second or double sink is extremely attractive, especially in homes with busy families or couples that only have one bathroom,” reveals Kev Tilley.

"The double sink used to be considered a luxury feature, but many have now realized that it offers a practical solution, and as a result, it has become much more common and desired by home seekers."

Private bathroom

The suite is still the most desired addition when it comes to bathrooms. "If you are looking to upgrade your home and have the space and budget, a suite can make a huge difference in increasing the value of your property," reveals Jonathan Rolande.

Buy how much exactly? Marco Helliwell, founder, and CEO of mypropertyadvice.com says: 'Adding a suite adds direct value to a property, making, in most cases, the most desirable master bedroom.
