DIY Modern Coffee Table

We wanted a modern light wood coffee table with rounded edges for a while, so we finally built one.

This is a tutorial on how we take solid maple planks and plywood layers and turn them into an amazing modern coffee table.

  • Japanese chuck saw
  • General finishes High-performance finish
  • Dust mask

Legs are 17 "high at the tips, 15" high in the middle, 2 1/4 "wide, and 23.5" long.

Tabletop measures 47.5 "long, 20" wide, and 1.5 "high.
