DIY Modern Plant Stands

I made a set of modern plant stands with exposed spikes.

The stands can be used as speaker stands or any display stand.

The exposed herringbone and lace joinery are relatively simple, making it a good project for any carpenter.

For this project, I used walnut and maple wood to add a ton of contrast and show articulation.

But you can use any type of wood you want for this project; I only recommend that you use hardwood.

I like to build projects that serve two purposes, one being aesthetic and the other utilitarian.

This woodworking project hits both marks, and I couldn't be happier with the end result.

I'm a huge fan of minimalist design that packs a punch.

So I took this seriously when designing these pieces. I just tried to get the carpentry to tell the story.

You can have fun with this one and create tons of shapes for your home.

I had a lot of fun with this one and I hope you enjoy the project as much as I do.

Enjoy the construction!
