Easy DIY Wooden Couch Sleeve

In this post, we show how we made a wooden cover out of a sofa coaster.

This was a super easy design and a nice update, making it much more convenient to have a drink while watching TV or reading.

We especially love the fact that it can be moved to the sides of the sofa ... for maximum comfort and laziness.

My measurements will work for an Ikea Karlstad sofa or chair. But you can easily modify the measurements to work with the dimensions you need.

• 1x8 board
• A thin piece of plywood (I used a scrap piece)
• Miter saw
• Table saw
• 3.5 "hole saw
• Drill
• Orbital Sander
• Pocket hole jig
• Circular saw
• Wood glue
• Wood conditioner
• Wood stain
• Polyurethane
