How to Make a Vintage Trompo Spinning Top

The spinning top or trompo is a very old toy that is worth having at home because it can be played with at any time of the year, make a competition of who lasts the longest, and it really is a lot of fun.

The spinning top is made up of a wooden circle, a dowel with a point that serves as an axis to turn, and a handle that supports the top while it takes flight to move on its own.

This project is for a string-powered spinning top made out of beech wood.
