Making a Three String Guitar

I decided to make my own "box" for the body of the guitar.

While making the body from scratch, I realized that I didn't need to make a square box, I could make any shape I wanted! I thought in a few different ways until I settled on a modern design based on St. Vincent's Ernie Ball Music Man.

Making this Cigar Box-style guitar was a lot easier than I thought. If you are interested in building guitars, I think this is a great place to start.

After building this, I am fully confident that I can now build a full-size guitar.
