How the Hexagon Is Made

The motif is worked in the round, and each round is closed with a slip stitch. The first rounds build the snowflake with clusters and picots, and the outer rounds turn the circle into a hexagon. The last round is a repeat round: keep adding it to make the hexagon as big as you like, even large enough for a single-motif cushion.
