Crochet Textured Baby Blanket In Pastel - Great for Beginners!
Hello, how are you today? Welcome to our blog About Crochet. We hope you are very well and looking forward to a new Free Crochet Pattern or Tutorial.
Today we want to share with you a special post:
Textured Baby Blanket In Pastel free Pattern
This crochet pattern is a repeat of one row using single crochet and double crochet stitches. These pastel yarn colors just pop with this pattern. I used single crochet and two double crochet to create the puffy look. So easy to work this pattern.
So I was crocheting this beautiful baby blanket and thought it would look pretty with our without a crochet edging. The thinking was that the pastel colors were so complimentary that I did not want to take away from the color scheme with a border.
I will let you be the judge. I have some photos of the blanket without the crochet edge followed by a few photos of the blanket with a crochet edge in white.
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeThis pattern is worked in multiples of 3. Therefore to make this blanket wider or narrower, increase or decrease stitches by 3. The length can be adjusted by the rows completed.
Finished SizeWithout the crochet edge, the blanket is 42 inches wide X 36 inches long. With the crochet edge, the blanket measures 44 inches wide X 39 inches long.
