Today the creator shares with us how to crochet a poppy. I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend and were able to celebrate some Easter festivities with your family. The creator loves poppy flowers for their delicate paper almost like petals, which always makes me want to hold the flower in my hands. Poppies come in a variety of shapes and colours, and the Field Poppy has a special 'Remembrance' meaning to those in the UK. You can then choose to follow the crochet flower pattern to make a bouquet of pastel Icelandic poppies or a simple crochet red poppy to wear as a keepsake brooch for Armistice Day on November 11.
