Super Fashion! Crochet Japanese Knot Bag

Hello, how are you today? Welcome to our blog About Crochet. We hope you are very well and looking forward to a new Free Crochet Pattern or Tutorial.
Today we want to share with you a special post:
Easy Crochet Japanese Knot Beach Bag Styleย
A Japanese knot bag is a small open version of the classic bag, but with a nice twist.
It has asymmetrical handles, and one of the handles slides over the other to form a knot and close the bag.
The handle can be slightly longer or up to three times longer compared to the other handle.
This video tutorial from Bag-O-Day-Crochet will show you how to create this beautiful Japanese knot bag, designed as something you would easily wear to the beach or on summer pool days.
For this project you will need acrylic yarn, the author chose one of the caron cotton yarns from yarnspirations, which is a medium weight yarn number 4 60% cotton and 40% acrylic.
You don't need to use this particular yarn, any medium weight number 4 will be great for this (about 450 yards), you'll also need a size J or 6.00mm crochet hook.
