Easy Ideas for Displaying Air Plants

There's a reason air plants, also known as Tillandsia, are one of the most popular houseplant species. For one thing, there are around 500 different varieties of this perennial flower, with a variety of exotic shapes and vibrant colors.

They're also durable, adaptable, and don't require soil to grow (you heard that right), making them the perfect choice for lovers of low-maintenance plants. Air plants are sustained by moisture in the air and grow naturally from tree branches, rocks, or other plants. So if watering this succulent every other week has proven to be too ambitious, the air plant is for you.

Due to the air plant's minimal root system, you can display them in a wonderful variety of supports, from traditional pots to macramé hangers. Scroll below for some great ways to display the mighty air plant.
