The Dirty Places You Overlook

It's easy to see obvious dirty spots in a home, like spilled food on the kitchen counter, soap suds in the shower, or a pile of dirty laundry.
But what about stains that may not look very dirty but are actually the ones that can affect the health of your family? Let's take a look at your house, room by room, and shed some light on hidden dirt and bacteria and how to get rid of them.
Let's take a look at the dirtiest items you left at home but need to be cleaned up right away:
Pet toys and feeders
Your pet deserves good clean feeders and waterers. They should be washed daily in the dishwasher or by hand with hot soapy water, rinsed well, and air dried to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.
Pet toys can harbor coliform bacteria, yeast, and fungi. Hard toys should be cleaned with hot soapy water (at least once a week) and soft toys can be washed by hand or in the machine with hot water and a disinfectant.
Keys, bags and wallets
The items you handle every day also absorb the germs and bacteria that you are exposed to every day. Take the time to clean your keychains, purses, and wallets.
The bags are usually the most germinated. They fall to the floor and then end up on the counters and tables in your home. Keep cloth and leather bags off the floor and clean them regularly, including the interior!

Gym Bags & Backpacks
Backpacks are a must for preschoolers and adults. Whether you're carrying camping gear, gym clothes, or books, eventually your backpack or gym bag will need to be cleaned and disinfected.
