So kablam! A magnetic launch launches the train out of the station, reaching 80 km/h in two seconds.

It's impressive, but several other launched roller coasters, including Universal's Hagrid ride and Disney's Rock 'n' Roller roller coaster, reach (or slightly exceed) that speed and are still accessible to large groups of people. by emotions.

Who can (and should) participate in Jurassic World's VelociCoaster?

To board the tour, passengers must be at least 51 inches tall.

This would prevent most younger children from even considering facing it.

Interestingly, the other high-thrill ride on Islands of Adventure, The Incredible Hulk Coaster, has a more restrictive 54-inch height requirement, though one could argue that the VelociCoaster is a bit more harrowing.

Regardless, meeting the height requirement doesn't necessarily mean kids (or adults) are ready for a VelociCoaster ride.

As we have said, this is an intense journey and the personal decision to travel must be considered carefully and certainly not coerced.

If you, your child, or someone from the park gang is thinking of trying the ride but aren't sure, it would make sense to check out Universal's other roller coasters first (we rank them based on excitement level).
