If you do not want a seam down the back of your hat then follow the following instructions from round 16 onwards:
-complete the slip stitch using the same color
-fasten off
-attach your new yarn at the beginning of the next round

-For size 0 - 3 months use a 4mm crochet hook
-For size 3 - 6 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
-For size 6 - 12 months use a 5mm crochet hook
-For size 12 - 18 months use a 5.5mm crochet hook
-For size 18 - 24 months use a size 6mm crochet hook
