How To Care For Black Pagoda (Lipstick Plant)

The black pagoda (Aeschynanthus longicaulis) is a type of perennial plant from Asian countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The most striking and interesting of these plants are their bright red flowers with a tube shape, very similar to that of the classic lipstick, hence the name by which they are mostly known.

Aeschynanthus look best in tall or hanging pots or holders, which allow for a good display of their long, beautiful branches, making them an interesting option to consider if you want to expand your plant collection.
