What to Do With a Huge Lavender Harvest?

Lavender is one of everyone's favorite plants, so we'd like to share some of the things you can do with a great lavender crop to inspire you to get the most out of this plant if you have any in your garden.
Learning how to use different plants grown in gardens helps you develop strategies and create practical elements that can allow you to reduce dependence on harmful systems.
By using the plants in your garden for a variety of uses, you reduce your consumption of store-bought items and live in a greener and more sustainable way.
Lavender is known for its beauty, fragrance, and relaxing properties. Of course, there are many uses for this flowering herb in your home, but here are some of the best:
Lavender Rosemary Hair Rinse
One thing you can do with lavender is to make a simple rinse for your hair out of lavender and rosemary.
Add sprigs of lavender and rosemary to a pitcher of water, let it sit overnight, strain, add a little apple cider vinegar, and run it through your hair in the shower.
You can experiment and find the right ratio of ingredients for your hair and your preferences.

Infused lavender oil
If you are not equipped to make your own lavender essential oil, you can do so by adding dried lavender to almond oil.
An easy trick for this scented oil is in a homemade beeswax balm, which is great for chapped lips and dry hands in winter.
With only four ingredients: beeswax, almond oil, lavender, and honey, this balm is a great alternative to the typical balms that you can buy.
Lavender scrubs and bath bombs
Pat the lavender dry and use the flower buds along with some sea salt and some of the infused oil mentioned above to make a body scrub.
You can also toss a few buttons in bath bombs made with citric acid, baking soda, and a few drops of lavender essential oil.
Optionally, you can add other botanicals such as rose petals, marigold flowers, peppermint, or rosemary).
Lavender wreaths and displays
If you grow a lot of lavender in your garden, it is worth bringing it indoors so you can enjoy its aroma and beauty in flower arrangements.
Put the lavender in a simple vase alongside other flowers in your garden (if you have one). Another thing to consider is that the wreaths don't have to be just for Christmas; You can create a summer wreath with only lavender or with lavender and other garden plants.
Lavender stem and nettle string basket
To make a rustic basket, soak the stems of the plants and turn them into finger-width bundles. These bundles can be rolled and sewn smoothly with any type of cord.
As a green additional tip, use natural materials harvested from your own garden.
