Growing Vegetables in a Self Watering Planter

Repotting vegetables in water is usually as easy as taking a portion of the vegetable and suspending it in a glass or other container of water.
The portion needed to replant vegetables in water is usually a stem or the bottom (root end) of it. For example, you can replant cilantro and basil from a twig. Simply place the stem of any grass in water in a warm, sunny area and wait a few weeks until you see roots.
Once you have a nice healthy root system growing, place it in a container of soil or return it to the garden. In the video tutorial below you will see an easy step-by-step on how to replant vegetables in water with an automatic watering system!
